We all care about the environment, but it should not be a reason to abandon rational thinking and the scientific method - rather these are tools we can all use together to find solutions that actually do work. Real knowledge is real power. A solution based on dogma and irrational thinking is no solution at all - just something else to add to the pile of problems that need solving. Think about that.
