What is particularly interesting is that this is truly large scale, as it will require 2000+ acres to produce 250 megawatts, this land was previously farm land. So not sure if the opportunity cost of the lost land productivity has been factored into this or not. Regardless it is good to see that solar is being deployed at this scale, although it is a shame that more advanced technology has not being used that could enable electrical production at night..
