Teaching kids about environmental issues can be a fine balance: too little information and they miss the point, too much and they wake up with nightmares about tsunamis and hurricanes...

While we’re not huge TV addicts or fans of excessive boob-tubing, we do find that TV can occasionally be relaxing, enjoyable, and sometimes even illuminating...

We certainly encourage families and kids to take part in activities together outside the home, and far away from the big (and little) screen, but there’s definitely nothing wrong with a little TV treat every now and then...
